Today I applied for my very first passport! Fred and I went to the Post Office, filled out the form, got our picture taken, and wrote the check! I've never travelled out of the country (aside from Canada) and I'm so excited to get my passport stamped!
Choosing an outfit was quite a decision. I realize it's just one photo, and I'll probably rarely use it. But it's valid for ten years! I'll be using that picture until I'm almost 37!
The Postmaster said they've been shipping in as little as three weeks! I can't wait!

Today is fantastic!!!
Today I found the perfect, most adorable cake topper ever and I LOVE it.
Also today, my belt came in for my wedding dress! I can go pick it up whenever. Now that I have it, I can have Andrew start to make my wedding hair piece.
Also, I got the call that the bridesmaid applique is in! I will pick that up and have it made into a belt for the bridesmaids dresses. Now that I have it, I can pick jewelry out!
The sun is shining....it's 50 degrees out! I am in the best mood ever!!!!

Take me to a tropical island
Today Fred and I went to the travel agent to discuss honeymoon options! We both decided that once (all) this planning is (finally) done we're going to need a week of relaxation. While Europe would be amazing to see, we don't want to feel like we have to be tourists and see things on the honeymoon. So warm and beach it is!
Fred said he'd like to keep the destination a secret and surprise me! I think it's a fantastic, and romantic idea. We talked about beachy places all over, so I have no idea which directions he'll take us. All of the options have their selling points, but it's definitely something we need to do our homework in, and compare the choices.
In less than three months I will be a happily married woman, laying on a beach somewhere with my husband, a book, and a fruity drinks. I. Can't. Wait.

V-Day
This year for Valentine's Day, Fred and I bought each other wedding bands <3
About six weeks back we went to look at wedding bands. Fred had his narrowed down to two inside fifteen minutes. As you could guess, I was the exact opposite.
Since Fred had my engagement ring made, it was a little tricky to find a band that matches. My ring has two rows of diamonds that join at the basket. I have a symmetry issue, and I don't love the idea of having three bands. Also, I understand you're supposed to wear the wedding band closest to your heart....but I've always thought that looks backwards. So it's looking like two bands for me!
After much debate, I decided on two, and we ordered them! While chocolates are tasty, and flowers smell divine, I really couldn't think of a better gift to give my Valentine.

100 days out & we booked the venue!
Obviously, by now you've picked up on how backwards a bride-to-be I am. Today we went to the venue and signed the papers to officially book it!
Yes, after we sent the Save the Dates. With the city on it.
